Acrylic is a flexible material and a 54″ unsupported length may experience modest sag. For this reason, all Boda pieces that are 54″ long are measured to ensure that the maximum sag at the center of the top or shelf is 1/4″ or less. All pieces over 54″ long must have a center brace to avoid sag in excess of 1/4″.
